Description

The OeAD, Austria's Agency for Education and Internationalisation and the Austrian eTwinning National Support Organisation, has developed this eTwinning Work Programme to support key European education goals, including the “Union of Skills”, the European Education Area 2025, and the Digital Education Action Plan 2021–2027. All specific objectives are aligned with European and national education priorities: - Support and promotion of the European School Education Platform/eTwinning - Involvement of stakeholders at national and regional level - Growth in users and schools - Promotion of eTwinning projects, innovative collaboration, quality education, and teacher development - Strengthening teachers’ ICT competences - Promoting Erasmus+ and eTwinning themes and priorities - Involving specific groups (VET, early childhood education, rural/underrepresented regions, initial teacher training) - Integrating eTwinning/ESEP into national school education policy Building on previous successes, eTwinning Austria will focus on diverse dissemination, broad professional development offers, helpdesk support, and cooperation with national, regional, and local authorities. All actions will emphasize inclusion, balance, and equal treatment. Quantitative indicators to measure progress include: - At least 700 new eTwinning users annually - At least 180 new eTwinning projects per year - At least 120 Austrian users engaged in national/international development and networking events each year.
