Description
Description | eTwinning Vlaanderen wants to be the ambitious National Support Organisation (NSO) for all teachers and practitioners in education in Flanders, contributing strongly to the Erasmus+ programme and always keeping in mind its 4 priorities. To achieve this the NSO will actively promote and contribute to the European School Education Platform (ESEP). This will be done by leading a maximum of practitioners in education in Flanders to this new platform and by providing relevant content to ESEP. The NSO will support and contribute to the professional development (PD) and networking opportunities of practitioners in education and will continue to organise and offer access to online and face-to-face PD opportunities or events for networking. In the case of face-to-face events, the reason will always be motivated to be aligned with the greener dimension Erasmus+ priority. An essential part in establishing growth for eTwinning is the NSO’s contribution to embedding eTwinning in the national education system so it becomes better known in the regional education community. The NSO will have regular meetings with a MoE representative to collaboratively increase awareness of eTwinning in Flanders. As the NSO is part of a European network, it will play an active role in collaborating with the Central Support Service (CSS) and the entire NSO network. NSO members will take part in taskforces, working groups, meetings and will show a positive attitude towards other NSOs to organise joint events, support events and assist when appropriate. The NSO wants to increase the number of users and schools and will provide adequate technical and pedagogical support to all eTwinners. Currently approximately 3.5% of teachers in Flanders are registered eTwinners. By the end of 2023 the NSO would ambitiously like to up this to 4%. To achieve this, collaboration with the MoE is key together with excellent content on the NSO’s national website and social media channels. |
