Description

Description

eTwinning Vlaanderen wants to be the ambitious NSO for all practitioners in education in Flanders, contributing strongly to the promotion of ESEP, reinforcing the synergy between eTwinning and the Erasmus+ programme and always keeping in mind its 4 priorities. The proposal is designed in order to increase the number of users, schools and projects in eTwinning. This will be done by leading a maximum of practitioners (users and schools) in education in Flanders to ESEP, providing and offering relevant tailored content. To achieve this, liaison with the NA, MoE, CSS and potential stakeholders to integrate eTwinning initiatives is key together with excellent content on the NSO’s national website and social media channels. The NSO will continue to organise and offer access to relevant online, face-to-face and hybrid professional development and networking activities. As the NSO is part of a European network, it will play an active role in collaborating with the CSS and the entire NSO network: NSO members will take part in taskforces, working groups, meetings and support other NSOs when appropriate. To ensure a safe and high-quality delivery of eTwinning in Flanders,  the NSO will promote the labels, awards and prizes for successful participation in eTwinning projects. All objectives of the proposal are written to contribute to the building of the EEA and the ‘Union of Skills’: the NSO plays a significant role in stimulating basic skills, STEM, citizenship education skills and their related intercultural competences by referring to the dedicated content in ESEP. The proposal of eTwinning Flanders also takes in account the objectives of the DEAP ‘21-’27, ensuring that education systems adapt effectively to the digital era. With this proposal, the NSO Flanders wants to empower all stakeholders in adapting to educational challenges by elevated awareness of eTwinning as a cornerstone for future-ready education systems.
