Through the implementation of the present activity plan, the National Support Organization of Cyprus (CY NSO) aims to foster and enhance the collaboration between schools from Cyprus and from other European and neighbouring countries and support the development of pedagogical projects. The CY NSO will organize several activities to make the Action even more visible, so as to attract new users, to support and motivate the existing ones, to reactivate those who are dormant and to ultimately involve the highest possible number of schools. By organising these activities, the CY NSO will also work towards the upskilling of current and future teachers by offering professional development opportunities on a National and European level. Moreover, it will provide guidance and support for the implementation of good quality projects and will also reward the best efforts. Through the suggested activities the proposal aims to support the priorities of the European Commission in school education policy, meaning building a European Education Area, promoting the Commission’s Digital Education Plan and supporting the Action Plan on Basic skills as part of the EU’s strategy, “Union of Skills”, on skills development and lifelong learning.
