Description

Description

"The work plan from the Danish NSO is based on the overall, thematic framework for eTwinning cooperation stated in the invitation to submit proposal 2022, which is ”Our future: beautiful, sustainable, together. Schools and the New European Bauhaus: Imagining a creative learning environment in green and inclusive schools”. The theme serves as a source of inspiration in the coming period and is reflected in the individual work packages and activities. In addition the work plan has a special focus on vocational education training, day care and the potential synergy benefits to other program activities under Erasmus +, including target groups with children and young people with fewer opportunities. The Danish work plan is summarized, cf. below. Work package 1 centers around ‘management’, leadership and committed participation. The Danish NSO commits to promote the eTwinning network and play an active and proactive part in the cooperation between all 43 eTwinning partners, the EU and the rest of Erasmus +, as well as contri-buting to pedagogical capacity development in day care, schools, institutions, regions and municipalities. Work package 2 centers around dissemination. The Danish NSO has developed a communication strategy where a media production such as videos and case articles are key activities. The media production will take place in collaboration with a defined target group and aims to strengthen the quality of international learning cooperation. The Danish NSO will also contribute to a number of events, including the #Lærfest events arranged by the University Colleges’ education resources centres (CFU). Work package 3 centers around the recognition of quality in projects. The Danish NSO awards quality labels to applicant schools and institutions, including an annual national award for the 3-4 best projects. The Danish NSO will carry out the ongoing annual certification of applicant schools to become official eTwinning schools. Work package 4 centers around providing pedagogical and technical support to the 10 000 registered Danish users as well as the 700 new users who as a minimum are expected to register in each of the coming years. Furthermore, the Danish NSO has had a binding dialogue with several municipalities and undertakes to co-operate on; • strategic initiatives in Aalborg and Middelfart, among others, targeted at the municipalities' long-term Erasmus + accreditation • courses, seminars and conferences • cooperation in the day care area for managers and pedagogical staff with the municipalities of Odense, Hoje-Taastrup, Esbjerg and others as well as with participation from the rest of the Nordic and Baltic countries • cooperation in regards to technology comprehension with the municipalities of Esbjerg and Varde. In all activities with physical mobility, the development of the COVID-19 pandemic is continuously taken into account, and plans are made as far as possible so that dynamic changes can be made between physical, hybrid and virtual forms if necessary. Work package 5 is centered around safety and quality in eTwinning activities in order to continuously promote safe, secure and responsible collaboration on the forthcoming, large portal European School Education Platform / eTwinning. The plans should also help raise participants' understanding and knowledge of e-security. Cooperation and synergy benefits are sought with other ongoing security initiatives under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Education."
