Description

Description

The objectives of National Support Organisation (NSO) are to promote the European School Education Platform / eTwinning among Estonian stakeholders (teachers from pre-primary to upper secondary schools as well as from vocational schools to teacher education institutions). The NSO facilitates user registration, supports teachers in project implementation, awarding schools and teachers for their successful participation in eTwinning action, organizing teacher training sessions etc. The action provides an opportunity to showcase Estonia's educational achievements and learn from others, leading to the improvement of teaching and learning processes in Estonian schools. Through participating in eTwinning action, educators can enhance their digital skills, gain new pedagogical insights, and expand their networks. These experiences and participation in educational events organized by the NSO and CSS contribute to the continuous professional growth of Estonian teachers. Through various activities described in the application the NSO supports schools in building systematic European collaboration and provides support and training to help teachers and schools participate in eTwinning activities as well as enhancing blended mobility through Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2 activities. The application consists of four Work Packages aimed at promoting and enhancing the European School Education Platform / eTwinning in Estonia, implementing communication activities towards users and potential users, recruiting and engaging users, and building a community. The NSO contributes to awards, labels, and prizes for achievements in eTwinning. Trainings and educational events are organized for both new and experienced registered users to increase visibility and attract new teachers to the program. Throughout work packages described in the application, the NSO aims to demonstrate the value of eTwinning in terms of student learning outcomes, teacher professional development, and intercultural awareness.
