The Jugendbüro is the NSO for the German-speaking Community of Belgium since 2014. The objectives of the NSO remained fundamentally the same during the last program period. The main focus was on: increasing quality, increasing the number of projects and increasing awareness of the programme. These areas remain relevant. From 2022 on a new eTwinning coordinator will take over the management of the programme. As a former teacher, the new coordinator can fall back on experience at school and also support eTwinners pedagogically in their projects. She will also be able to create synergies since she manages the counselling and the support of the Erasmus+ applicants and beneficiaries. Based on the eTwinning needs analysis and 2021-2027 concept, the working time will be increased to 50% from 2022 on in order to ensure a high quality management and to implement new aspects in the programme administration. This means that: - more visits to schools can now take place. - We can intensify our efforts to include eTwinning in the curricula for kindergarten and primary school teachers in our ITE institution. - We want more activities and updates for registered users so that they can really participate in eTwinning. Approaching the kindergartens is an important task of the next programme period. - The respective annual theme and the main priorities should be promoted more visibly in order to encourage further projects and to do dissemination work for eTwinning. - In addition to these additional activities, the previous tasks must also be continued: events, administration (reports, applications, etc.), sending teaching staff, technical support, public relations, travel for events as well as coordination and communication.
