This proposal is presented by Indire has been from the very beginning the organization responsible for support at national level for eTwinning. Indire is also the organization responsible for Erasmus+ and already in the past (2014-2020) we have worked in collaboration with the Italian Erasmus National Agency. Indire is a research organisation under the vigilance of the Ministry of education. eTwinning has a very strong and active community in Italy that enthusiastically participates to all events and initiatives both at national and European level. Furthermore, in particular in the last few years, there has been a growing interest in eTwinning by local and central school authorities and a fruitful synergy between national priorities and eTwinning’s mission, which we have tried to exploit at best to mainstream eTwinning. And we will continue so in the future. In 2022 and 2023 we will continue the research activities linked to eTwinning in collaboration with our INDIRE Research Departments and universities involved in ITE. We will focus the studies and monitoring activities to those themes that will emerge as urgent and relevant at European and national level, in order to contribute actively to the further developments of eTwinning and increase its visibility and credibility both at national and international level. Possible themes could be the role of eTwinning in the digital and green transition fostered in the Recovery Plan (Next Generation EU), learning analytics or other themes linked to the role of eTwinning in the Initial Teacher Education. The proposal is organised according to indications contained in the Invitation to submit proposals ERASMUS-EDU-2022-ETWIN-NSO-IBA, Version 1.0, 20 October. It consists of 5 work packages: WP 1 Common tasks contributing to the management and operation of the European School Education Platform / eTwinning -The Italian NSO will contribute as required by taking part to all NSO meetings, PDW forActivity plan eTwinning NSO Italy
