eTwinning NSO Italy We are committed to reinforcing the role of eTwinning within the Italian school system by enhancing its visibility, formal recognition, and alignment with national education priorities. We aim to return to the participation levels and engagement trends of 2021, after the losses and challenges caused by the ESEP platform’s malfunctioning. Our efforts will focus on embedding eTwinning more deeply across all school levels and territories, strengthening collaboration with Regional School Offices and leveraging the expertise of our consolidated Ambassadors’ Network. Through many national, regional and local events, we will continue to train, support and inspire teachers, promoting pedagogical innovation and European cooperation. A strategic investment will be made in future teachers through dedicated activities targeting newly hired teachers and initial teacher education pathways, ensuring that eTwinning becomes a natural part of their professional development. We will also support the internationalisation of less experienced schools, guiding them to gradually engage with Erasmus+ opportunities, starting with eTwinning and evolving towards KA1 and KA2 projects. Visibility and recognition of quality will be pursued by identifying and disseminating best practices and rewarding excellent schools and projects through eTwinning Labels and Awards. Our website and social channels will amplify national and European initiatives, fostering a dynamic and informed community. Training and communication actions will reflect Erasmus+ transversal priorities and annual eTwinning themes, with particular attention to priority targets like ECEC or VET. We will continue working with school stakeholders and E+ colleagues to promote blended mobility and synergies, while actively contributing to the management and development of eTwinning and ESEP at national level in coordination with CSS, Lot 2, and NSOs.
