Description
Description | This application builds on the achievements of the previous project period and reflects our role as the Norwegian National Support Organisation for eTwinning as well as our position within the Erasmus+ National Agency. It aligns closely with national education priorities and the objectives of the current eTwinning call, with a strong emphasis on inclusion, democratic engagement, digital transformation, and sustainability. The project supports the Norwegian Government’s Erasmus+ strategy (2021–2027), particularly the goal of promoting “Internationalisation at Home” in primary and secondary education. While international cooperation is valued across the education sector, many schools – especially in rural areas – lack the capacity to engage in physical mobility. eTwinning offers a low-threshold, scalable solution to bridge this gap. Through digital collaboration, students gain intercultural experience and democratic competencies, while teachers strengthen their pedagogical and digital skills. The project focuses on quality support and outreach, with tailored activities for priority groups such as ECEC, VET, and ITE. We promote the eTwinning School Label, encourage project quality, and work closely with ambassadors and our KA1 and KA2 teams to ensure synergies across Erasmus+. Key themes include inclusion, democratic participation, sustainability, and digital transformation – all central to both European and Norwegian education policy. A clear communication and evaluation strategy will support long-term impact. By empowering more schools to integrate eTwinning into daily practice, we contribute to a more inclusive and meaningful internationalisation of Norwegian education. |
