eTwinning is a well-recognized tool in Slovenia, as it involves 338 primary and 92 secondary schools (including VET schools) and 49 pre-primary schools . Active members of the eTwinning professional community most commonly recognize gained self-confidence, developed ICT competence, expanded international professional network, new knowledge from various pedagogical fields, improved foreign language skills, a springboard for Erasmus+, as a consequence of participating in eTwinning. During the pandemic, epidemic, and as consequence-closed schools, teachers perceived new needs for themselves and also students. NSO will try to address some of them in the project until the end of 2023. Teachers reported that during the closure of schools the differences between students have deepened. One of them is related to the social inclusion and fair school. Moreover, despite home schooling and the consequent increased use of ICT, teachers still feel a lack of knowledge in the area of meaningful and adequate use of ICT in the classroom for pedagogical purposes. However, given that eTwinning is part of the Erasmus+ Programme, NSO will also follow other priority topics such as active citizenship and the environment. NSO will continue to intertwine and integrate eTwinning activities with Erasmus + projects. As in the past period, we will continue to focus on one of the most important target groups, students and teachers of VET and ECEC institutions and schools from rural areas. We will address them through tailor-made workshops and with good practices. In the last year, teachers have gained a lot of new experiences with blended mobility, which we will try to maintain and raise the level of quality. Objectives will be reached through established activities: social media, established communication tools with Erasmus + national agency, webinars, workshops in schools and at NSO, inclusion and promotion of online CSS events, publications. We will also devote a lot of attention to ESEP.
