eTwinning has been an integral part of CMEPIUS, national agency (NA) for Erasmus+, since 2005. During years it had an active and important role in the national education context. Being part of NA also enables us creating synergies between the two programms, promoting ESEP and eTwinning among Erasmus+ beneficiaries and promoting eTwinning annual theme throughout the whole NA. During the years we have developed a strong and motivated eTwinning community that includes institutions from ECEC up to secondary schools and VET institutions. With new platform, NSO faced the decrease of users and projects, and we lost a lot of active and quality eTwinnners, due to their loss of trust in the stability of the platform and eTwinning community. In the last two years we have taken actions to regain their trust to reactivate dormant users, but we were only partly successful. This is indicated also by the numbers of new registered users that are decreasing since 2024. Thus, we have decided that in the new project period we will put more focus on promotion of eTwinning and ESEP among new users who do not have knowledge and experiences from legacy. Alongside we also want to actively participate and contribute to professional development of teachers, especially in the field of gaining digital skills. Anothaer important objective in this project period will also be to raise the quality of eTwinning projects. This 22 month project plan will be implemented by NSO and NA staff, cooperate closely to maintain and strengthen synergies between eTwinning and Erasmus+. We will focus on addressing common priorities and foster integration of eTwinning into Erasmus+ projects as a complementary activity. The main activities in the next project period will be 1 international seminar, 2 national seminars to support newcomers and experienced etwinners, online international fairs, online webinars, national award ceremonies.
