Description

Description

There are multiple objectives in our project proposal. It is aimed to create a democratic and tolerant society on a daily basis in terms of all kinds of divisions on different grounds and to create an opportunity for participants in our modules to hear, analyse and develop and deepen their knowledge in the field of human rights. The main aim of the project is the concept of the human rights to be understood in several of its key forms, especially the group of civil, political, economic, social and cultural rights, their phenomenology to be explained and their specifics in terms of standards set in international law. Furthermore, the system of protection at the international level, both universally and regionally, to each of the rights respectively to be explained. The aim of the project is to elaborate the details of the international standards for the protection of the right to life, the prohibition of torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment, the right to equality and protection against discrimination, the right to liberty and security, the right to a fair trial, the right to respect for private and family life, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, freedom of expression, the right to vote and the right to a fair and fee choice, freedom of assembly and association, the freedom of movement, and the way they are reflected in the international human rights system.
