EU GENDER SECURITY

State National University of Trade and Economics is the leading Ukrainian economic university, social change initiator and multiplier of positive effects. The key objectives of our project are to raise awareness of gender security, our novel concept, among the new generation of employees, who will work in the private and public sectors and to spread the core EU principles of gender equality and female empowerment in educative process in Ukraine and EU member-states implementing the idea of diversity and inclusion. The competitive syllabus ready to be implemented in universities-partners in the EU will shape the knowledge on qualitative and quantitative methods for assessing and the toolkit for fostering the EU gender security in economic, social, and political spheres. The main activities embrace interactive training sessions with brainstorming and workshops aimed at obtaining soft and hard skills by participants, networking, and exchanging ideas during annual conferences. The project beneficiaries are students, faculty members, and management of educational institutions that will serve as agents of social change. Our expected results are forming the inclusive mindset of young generation via disclosing positive impacts of high levels of gender security on ensuring the inclusiveness and increased innovativeness of EU and Ukrainian communities. The outputs of the module include articles, a textbook, minutes of annual conferences embracing students, faculty members and social activists, cooperation with the information portal Comments.ua, using the project website, Facebook, and Instagram accounts. The main indicators include the number of participants – 90 (baseline) and 120 (target); percentage of females – 50 (baseline) and 70 (target); percentage of correct answers in final testing – 70 (baseline) and 90 (target); the educative value-added as the difference between entering and finishing testing, number of visitors and comments at our website, social media accounts.
