The project continues an Interreg project of co-operation realized in the former programming period. It was a totally new initiative at that time in the field of junior football training in Hungary. The project was managed also by UFC. Not only the participants, but also other clubs and the national football associations considered as a huge opportunity the cross border co-operation. The partners intended to continue and widen the co-operation, and sustain the results of the former project. The general objective of the project is development of a common training system (common trainers instructions, common cross border junior league in more age-group, common training camps, common player training system) and enlargement of the co-operation Target groups: mainly junior football player from 8-8 clubs in both countries in 12 age-groups (About 2240 players take part directly in the project events.); trainers and management of the clubs; parents of the junior football players. The main specific activities of the project and results are: EU-GOAL Junior Football league: August/2009-October/2009; April/2010-June/2010; Training Camps: August/2009; July/2010; Hall tournaments: Nov/2009-February 2010; Friendly Games: February 2010-March/2010; Trainers Conference: Mai/2010-July/2010; Infrastructure improvement: August/2009-April/2010; Main results: 2240 players participants in the project (50-50% form Hungary and Romanian), 25 different project events (50-50% form Hungary and Romanian), more than 1000 common activities.
