Description

Description

The project of Euroguidance Netherlands intends to meet the main objective of strengthening the guidance community competence on the European dimension of lifelong guidance (LLG) through the development of activities which: - Promote and support the use of European instruments and the development of the European dimension of LLG within national guidance systems; - Support competence development of guidance professionals and raise their knowledge and awareness of recent developments in LLG; - Support cooperation/mutual learning at the European, national and regional level across the different contexts of LLG. Activities include supporting CareersNet and Europass, participation in (European) meetings in the field of LLL and LLG, and cooperation with other European networks. We will organize and contribute to meetings in cooperation with and in consultation with various stakeholders, to highlight and further elaborate on findings from earlier explorations concerning professionalization of guidance professionals. We will also provide information on international and inclusive mobility e.g. by developing tools/training and contributing to national conferences and meetings, and we will (further) develop existing instruments. We will conduct foresight studies to collect knowledge and good examples in the Netherlands and abroad around topical themes in order strengthen policy and practice insights. We will also proactively make this knowledge accessible via webinars and expert meetings to promote and strengthen (international) cooperation and exchange in the field of career support between stakeholders. The project's main beneficiary is the guidance community: guidance stakeholders in education, training and employment sectors (including guidance practitioners, policy and decision-makers) at local, regional, national and European/international levels.
