The project aims to develop a combustion concept for marine engines to operate on hydrogen and biomethane blends, with the goal of 100% hydrogen operation. It also includes catalyst technology development to reduce methane slip and emissions. Sea trials will be conducted on the ferry Aurora Botnia between Finland and Sweden, with full-scale engine testing in laboratories. |
