Description
Description | The partnership project IMMERSIVE-EU contributes to a need expressed by a group of youth organisations seeking to improve the quality of their work, particularly in relation to issues related to the transition of EU to young people. They also wish to share the training and the answers with other organisations working in the field of youth. It also seeks to contribute to a need analysis and solutions expressed by 270 young people done in November December 2023. Several documents of EU have already referred to these needs and in particular to the 37. Proposal: Citizen’s information, participation and youth to the Objective: Make the European Union more understandable and accessible and strengthen a common European identity. The project seeks answers to three questions: First: What should a European youth know and understand about EU to be a well informed and responsible citizen contributing to a sense of belonging in a diverse and inclusive EU? The project contributes from different groups: (1) migrant, refugees, (2) secondary school youths, (3) students in mobility VET-Erasmus and Ukrainian students in EU (4) university students -degrees unrelated to EU. The second question concerns teachers, students/ graduates from degrees related to EU and well informed and committed citizens- What should be transmitted of EU and how? The third question relates to how can the use of digital and immersive technologies help the EU understanding and transmission. The partners contribute to guidance in (1) content: Joint European Master Euroculture (2) lead digital and immersive technologies and transmission: School of Education, University College Dublin with partners - META and Microsoft and (3) coordination of the youth groups activities and learning processes - European NGO led by EDIW, also project coordinator. Young people will be main actors: create messages and stories, scenario building, engage in the immersive experiences, debates and communication - dissemination plans. |
