"The EU Youth Dialogue is the main instrument of youth participation in Europe. Young people and decision-makers come together to exchange views on a specific issue. The topics are given Europe-wide and are worked on and circulated by so-called ""national working groups"". Young people and decision-makers come together to exchange views on a specific issue. The topics are given Europe-wide and are worked on and circulated by so-called ""national working groups"". The Council of German-speaking Youth (RDJ) coordinates the working group in Ostbelgien. For this project, the national working group (NWG) wants to make the EU Youth Dialogue happening in Ostbelgien for the next two cycles. Each cycle has the same structure: - dialogue phase: The NWG organizes online and offline consultations in Ostbelgien to gather opinions of young people on the respective topic. It also transfer them to the European level (via European Youth Conferences or European reports). The input got through the European activities will help the NWG to analyze the dialogue phase and plan the implementation phase. - implementation phase: The NWG organizes events and activiets in order to find out how to turn the youth goals into youth actions in Ostbelgien. It will be the task of the NWG to discuss the outcomes of the dialogue phase with stakeholders and decision-makers to get to know what measures would be realistic. The outcome of such activities will show how we can reach the youth goals finally (and how we don't). Finally, it is an important task of the NWG to transfer the final recommendations of each cycle to the relevant stakeholders and decision-makers so that they will be put into actionson political level. The final aim is to improve the situation of young people in our region on the basis of the dialogue & implementation phase as well as the final recommendations. "
