"The Project is conceived as an opportunity to deep a subject matter in our organization – EU Migration and Asylum Policies –, and to promote EU values mentioned in Article 2 of TEU (human dignity, solidarity, respect of human rights), since providing the citizens with information is the key to guarantee them full possession of their fundamental rights and to foster EU values. Our objectives are: 1. “EU Law” course. The applicant will teach the subject “EU Law” within a number of degrees (Law, Economy, International Relations or Criminology). The students who take “EU Law” in various degrees require specific training on this subject, with particular reference to the promotion of EU values, the respect for human rights, and the Rule of Law. 2. Training course on ""EU Migration and Asylum Policies"". This training course constitutes a unique opportunity for the students and participants to deep into the field of EU Migration and Asylum Policies because our institution does not offer a course of similar characteristics. The main purpose of this course is the promotion of knowledge and deepening on a subject matter among students, policymakers, lawyers, judges, NGO members, civil servants, and a broad non-academic audience. 3. Cycle of round tables. This activity will feature experts and professionals who will discuss the benefits of developing a migration policy based on respect for EU values and the human rights of migrants. In order to reach a wider audience, these round tables will be held in a hybrid format, face-to-face and online. 4. Publications. This Proposal includes the production of Open Educational Resources (papers, articles, reports). All materials will be freely available. 5. Website. For the dissemination of the teaching activities and the project outputs, we will create a new website. More specifically, the conclusions of the round tables and seminars will be published on this website, together with the dissemination of all the teaching activities."
