EU policy traffic light: gender, rights, migration and digitalization

Recent research on gender and immigration shows that men and women have completely different integrative abilities. Social norms and practices that promote gender equality or, conversely, discriminatory institutions shape or limit women's decisions, choices and behaviors. The COVID-19 pandemic has become another challenge for the world community and necessitated the implementation of digital technologies in all spheres of life and the formation of a common digital space. Thus, digitalization in migration is a necessary component.KhNUIA has STEM-education and has various education programs and students: information technologies, psychology, law and law enforcement, management and administration. KHNUIA graduates work in the Police, Border Guard Service of Ukraine, its migration departments. They are engaged in advocacy and human rights activities. Graduates of cyber security specialty develop information technology in the field of security including border control. At present, the access of KhNUIA students to European studies is very limited. Only certain courses have modules on general EU law principles and policies. This is due to the fact that law enforcement agencies are strictly defined and more opposed to change. That is why GERIMID will be intrinsic element of European education for KhNUIA, its employees and students.
