The Republic of Slovenia (RS) participated in the second pilot call of EUROGRADUATE (EU-SI-EUROGRADUATE), supported by the capacity building of the European Graduate Tracking Initiative and implemented in cooperation with the European Graduate Tracking Network (National Reference Centres). In the Republic of Slovenia, there are currently two types of graduate tracking systems running in parallel. The first has a long tradition and is based on previous surveys at the level of higher education institutions. The second is based at the national level and is developed using administrative data from state registers. In order to further develop graduate tracking activities based on the data collected in the first round of the Eurograduate survey in Slovenia and to further develop the national graduate tracking system, the new round of instrument calibration, data collection, data analysis and data dissemination in the framework of EU–SI–EUROGRADUATE 2026 is crucial. The proposal therefore aims to implement activities under Topic 1: Eurograduate 2026 Survey - Support to National Data Collection, Option 4 (Collection of Essential Information (A), Recommended Information (B) and European Module (C)), with prefilling part. The project will improve the currently emerging indicators at national level, standardise them and improve the scope of the data and their comparability at national and European level. The experience gained so far from the first Eurograduate project will also play an important role and provide a solid basis for the project activities and the calibration of the processes carried out in the first round. In addition to the planned task of developing and implementing the national survey, the processes will also strengthen co-operation between Slovenian higher education institutions as well as policy makers and other relevant stakeholders (e.g. the national quality assurance agency).
