"The EU Youth Dialogue 2025-2027 project aims to enhance youth participation, inclusiveness, and empower young people across Cyprus and Europe. The project builds on lessons from past cycles while introducing innovative approaches to tackle emerging challenges, corresponding to the needs of young people. As Cyprus prepares for its pivotal role in the EU Presidency in 2026, this project is uniquely positioned to bridge the gap between young people and policy-making structures, ensuring their voices are heard at local, national, and European levels. The project aims to foster youth engagement in democratic processes by aligning its activities with the thematic priorities of the 11th EU Youth Dialogue cycle under Youth Goal #1: Connecting EU with Youth and the 12th cycle, focusing on European Youth Goals #4 and #9: Information & Constructive Dialogue, and Space & Participation for All. Through targeted consultations, workshops, capacity-building initiatives, and youth events, it seeks to empower young people, including marginalized groups, to actively shape youth policies. The inclusion of marginalised and underrepresented young people underscores the project’s commitment to diversity and equality. To achieve its objectives, the project will implement a multi-phase action plan encompassing dialogue, implementation, and reflection. This includes consultations on key priorities, policy recommendation development, and dissemination activities to maximize impact. A key feature of the project is the capacity-building activities, equipping young people with tools to act as multipliers and advocates within their communities. In addition, the project leverages innovative methodologies, such as gamification and non-formal education, to make participation accessible and engaging. The project also emphasizes sustainability and long-term impact. Outcomes will inform the renewal of Cyprus’ National Youth Strategy and contribute to EU-level policy recommendations."
