Description | As part of the $26.4 million Euclid Avenue reconstruction project in Pierre, the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) is adding new over height detection warning devices and safety enhancements on both sides of the railroad overpass near the federal building to reduce the number of over height vehicles hitting the train bridge. The project includes replacing the 2010 overheight detection system with hanging clearance markers, installing an LED stop sign for northbound traffic, and activating a digital message board for southbound traffic to reroute overheight vehicles. |
