For 20 years, Euregio Inntal has been an information and advisory platform in the region regarding cross-border issues, problems and issues and supports individuals/institutions on these issues. The aim of the project is to promote and support the cross-border platform Euregio Inntal. The Euregio itself is working for the European integration process at regional level with the aim of strengthening Interreg’s thoughts in the direct border regions. New networks/cooperations between the municipalities, the economy and the citizens will be established, existing ones maintained and expanded. The Interreg Austria-Bavaria Programme 2014-2020 is the starting point for promoting the development and strengthening of cross-border structures and differences in administrative and organisat.-instit. Dismantling systems and being made known throughout the Euregio Inntal region and beyond and brought closer to the citizens (Europe is visible through concrete projects). In particular, Euregio Inntal implements measures (in coordination with the relevant RKs, VBs, other Euregios, LAGs) in order to achieve the optimal implementation of Interreg Austria -Bavaria programme/project objectives and thus to improve cross-border cooperation. This is done, among other things, through support for programme implementation, small project service, such as general educational work (assistance in project partner search, consulting activities, public relations, etc.). Furthermore, the Euregio Inntal is increasingly dedicated to the development of border areas and wants to expand the “regionality” of the Euregio-Inntal space through impact-oriented actions, as well as to promote new actors with Interreg through project and public relations (border space symposium).
