The action is proposed by a consolidated partnership, led by MLPS - EURES National Coordination Office Italy (formerly ANPAL-EURES Italy), with several other EURES NCOs, labour market and non-profit organisations, local and regional authorities, outplacement agencies, a university and a European mobility network, covering 11 EU countries. It aims to address EU labour market imbalances and skills shortages and help individuals to access transnational employment opportunities in the EU where their skills are most in demand, reaching at least 1200 placements and targeting 450 employers (NACE: H, I, J, P, M, Q, R, S). The action combines tailor-made recruitment, matching, placement and post-placement services with financial support (travel to interviews, mobility allowance – also for family, recognition of diplomas/qualifications, language training and training programme) and is aimed at EU (plus Iceland and Norway) residents seeking work-based experience in another EU country and employers looking for candidates. The action is based on the principle of circular, fair and voluntary mobility and builds on quality standards guaranteed by the Consortium framework; SMEs will be the focus of a business scouting action. The efficiency and effectiveness of the proposal is ensured by a digital application system via a dedicated IT platform that complies with EU data protection standards, monitoring and reporting requirements. Employers and candidates register, are matched by a project mobility adviser and can access services and financial support. The online services will be combined with the one-to-one guidance and support from the EURES network. The action will integrate the EURES network catalogue in synergy with public and private employment services and strengthen engagement with jobseekers through empowerment laboratories, a Facebook community and a digital resources guide. The communication strategy will contribute to achieve the project objectives by communicating the EURES brand values and generating interest in the EU initiatives, e.g. the EU Digital Strategy, the EU Green Deal and the Twin Transition Strategy.
