Description
Description | Project Abstract — EURES Grande Région 2026–2027: The EURES Grande Région 2026–2027 project aims to boost cross-border professional mobility between France, Luxembourg, Germany, and Belgium. In response to economic transitions and labour market tensions, it seeks to adapt workers’ skills to the needs of strategic sectors (green industry, digital technology, logistics) and to actively support the green and digital transitions. Through coordinated action, the project deploys: - targeted cross-border training to anticipate changes in labour market demands; - strengthened information and guidance services through a multilingual digital One Stop Shop; - innovative and interactive communication campaigns to promote opportunities and priority sectors; - the creation of a “EURES Business Friendly Club” to engage companies around recruitment and transition challenges. Fully aligned with European priorities, the project promotes mobility, reduces labour market imbalances, supports inclusion, and fosters sustainable and innovative growth. The partnership brings together public employment services, social partners, political institutions, and businesses to deliver an integrated and ambitious response to the economic and social challenges of the Greater Region. EURES Grande Région thus aims to consolidate its role as a European laboratory for cross-border employment, highlighting the added value of EU action and developing transferable solutions for other cross-border regions. |
