Eurochild Framework partnership agreement 2026-2029 Eurochild is a membership network of organisations and individuals working with and for children throughout Europe. Our work is underpinned by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). The four-year Framework Partnership will enable the network to contribute actively to the development and implementation of EU policies that help build a stronger social Europe. Eurochild advocates for policies and funding that reduce child poverty and promote children’s social inclusion. The European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan and the European Child Guarantee (ECG) are important milestones. Through this partnership, Eurochild supports the EU target of lifting five million children out of poverty by 2030, and contributes to monitoring implementation of the ECG National Action Plans. Eurochild brings together 224 members working with and for children in 42 European countries, including all EU Member States. It involves children directly in its work through the Eurochild Children’s Council. This work informs how children themselves can be meaningfully involved in decision-making, a core principle of the UNCRC. Through ‘National Eurochild Forums’, members reach several hundred children per country, including children in need such as children living in precarious family situations, children with a migrant or ethnic minority background, children with disabilities, and children at risk or in the child protection system. Eurochild’s activities focus on: influencing policies at EU and national level; supporting our members to gather evidence and to monitor implementation of EU policies and funding; collecting and disseminating examples of good practice. The Framework Partnership also supports the network governance, internal capacity building, communication and dissemination activities and cooperation with other EU level networks.
