Description
Description | Summary The Eurofilm project was set up by usheru in order to make European film and tv content more accessible by audiences around the world. We have created a scalable solution which enables our partners to showcase all their audiovisual content to fans around the world and most importantly facilitate direct access to purchase the content in cinemas and on streaming players around the world. Objectives & Activities The overarching themes of this application are to continue to facilitate wider reach, richer discovery and insights for B2B & B2C purposes. Enable European film and tv content discovery in even more territories: Showtimes - increase from 41 to 82 countries. Streaming from 52 to 150 countries. Enable for the promotion of European talent by building a page for European cast & crew Enhance our partner's ability to gather first party data: In a cookieless world, it is essential to build direct relationships with your fans which we will facilitate through new features like ‘Competitions’. Reimagine what analytics should look like for the audiovisual industry: Build better analytics platforms. Power rights management tracking functionality and facilitating B2B enquiries: We will add B2B functionality to help grow sales of European films. Enable more partners to own the streaming moment of purchase: We will integrate the best players into our platforms facilitate direct-to-consumer strategies and enhance first party data collection. Expected results Since March 2020, largely thanks to Creative Europe support, we have enabled over 30 partners to benefit from our services including; national film bodies (e.g. German Films), distributors (e.g. A Contracorriente), and producers. In the next 24 months, we want to add another 70 European partners, who over 5 years will engage 150 million fans with their content. We will grow company revenue from €1m in 2021 to €3.5m & €8.9m in 2023/24 respectively whilst generating over €300m in additional industry revenue. |
