In 2024-2026, the Danish Euroguidance Centre will work to achieve the main policy objectives of the EG network: To promote the European dimension of Guidance and to support that the guidance community develops its competence on the European dimension of lifelong guidance. The activities will encourage mobility and lifelong learning across Europe and thereby the objectives as described in the new Skills Agenda for Europe and in the European Pillar of Social Rights. Moreover, they will be in line with the national context and support Danish policy development in the areas of guidance and lifelong learning. EG Denmark will establish information tools (website, publications, articles, events) for guidance counsellors across all levels of education, trainers of guidance counsellors and international coordinators. The Danish EG Centre trains and advises the national guidance community in terms of European mobility opportunities and enhances their knowledge of the value of mobility for career management. The work is carried out in synergy with the activities of the Danish NA for Erasmus+ and in cooperation with Europass, EQF, Eurodesk, EPALE, Eurydice. Information is given via the national EG websites, at seminars, conferences and fairs for guidance counsellors and at lectures to guidance counsellor students. EG Denmark will focus on enhancing synergy and common activities with all sectors of the Erasmus+ programme and the European Solidarity Corps targeting the guidance community. Erasmus+ TCA activities and thematic seminars for guidance counsellors will be planned. At European level, the Danish EG Centre will host the EG network meeting during the Danish EU presidency in autumn 2025 and respond to enquiries from abroad and disseminate information on request. We will contribute to network-level activities and participate in working groups’ common activities, e.g. the Nordic-Baltic cluster and of the Euroguidance Working Group 3 “Information provision and communication”.
