The Euroguidance overall objective of the network is competence development of the guidance community on the European dimension of lifelong guidance. The national goals and objectives of the action are in line with the mentioned main Euroguidance goal or task. The promotion of the European dimension in lifelong guidance is integrated in all aspects of the Euroguidance work. Euroguidance Finland implements Euroguidance priorities and tasks with a supportive and proactive approach on cross-sectoral cooperation within the guidance community. This is carried out in Euroguidance Finland as training and developing tools for guidance practitioners, information and communication, development, and impact activities. Emphasis on cross-sectoral guidance activities is a national priority. Euroguidance Finland is a valuable partner within guidance community. Euroguidance Finland is continuing to have close relationships with its target groups and further adapts its services based on the needs of the guidance community. This is carried out through leaning on the collected and received feedback through national and network’s stakeholder surveys, listening and interpreting signals from the different realities of guidance practitioners and following and anticipating the changes in the society. Euroguidance Finland has its specific task to continue in Finnish guidance community. Based on the National Lifelong Guidance Strategy (2020-2023), guidance and career counsellors should have at least the basic competence and skills at internationalization and learning mobility from now on. This will have a significant impact on the guidance community with their competence building work. This is one of the core actions Euroguidance Finland continues to work on have in close strategic co-operation with its national and international partners.
