Euroguidance Ireland promotes the European dimension in the field of Lifelong Guidance and operates within the Euroguidance Network objectives to strengthen the role of guidance in education and training. It is hosted, coordinated and delivered by Education and Training Boards Ireland (ETBI) in partnership with the Irish Department of Education (DE). Together, ETBI and DE promote best practice, provide supports, information, resources, materials and continuous professional learning and development (PL&D) for Guidance Professionals working in the Further Education and Training (FET) and Post Primary school sectors. Euroguidance Ireland is comprised of professionals with expertise in the field of lifelong guidance. This group of professionals includes colleagues from the Post Primary and Further Education and Training sectors as well as Higher Education, Public Employment and Youth Service Education sectors. At its core, it strives to provide Lifelong Guidance while supporting access and transitions for all. Euroguidance Ireland is committed to working in cooperation with European partners to promote collaboration and international mobility opportunities through the Academia network and support the development of the European dimension of Lifelong Guidance.
