Euroguidance National Centre in Slovakia (2021-2023)

The project proposal is related to functioning of the Euroguidance national centre in Slovakia in 2021-2023. The centre is part of a Europe-wide network which consists of national units in 36 European countries. The main goal of the network is to promote European dimension in lifelong guidance mainly through peer learning and exchange of good practices and to support competence development of career guidance practitioners and professionals. The Euroguidance National Centre in Slovakia is, therefore, tasked with delivering on these objectives at national level through organisation of different events and initiatives, cooperating with wide range of national as well as international partners, and disseminating project outcomes to the national career guidance community and relevant stakeholders (public authorities, private organisations, professional associations, other EU agencies and networks, public employment services, primary, secondary and higher education institutions). The main objectives of this project include: (a) maintaining a high level of cooperation within the Euroguidance network and increasing network’s visibility; (b) supporting the development of the national lifelong guidance system; (c) supporting competence development of career guidance practitioners and professionals; (d) raising awareness of the guidance community on EU tools and initiatives supporting mobility and transparency of skills and qualifications; (e) Providing quality information on the European dimension of guidance.
