Description
Description | EuroHealthNet is the European Partnership for health, equity and wellbeing, uniting 83 (sub)national member organisations from 32 countries. Together, we address public health, social and health inequalities, health promotion and disease prevention. Our mission is to help build a sustainable, fair, and strong Social Europe through tackling social and health inequalities within and between European States. Our unique position at the interface of social and health policy allows for intersectoral action, knowledge exchange and strategic dialogue – supporting just transitions, protecting livelihoods, and creating opportunities for all. Building a competitive and secure Europe in today's world requires a renewed commitment to social inclusion and health equity. This FPA will help us achieve our vision of a society in which all citizens enjoy their right to health and which delivers on social rights for everyone as they are key determinants of people’s health and wellbeing. We therefore consider the EPSR as a pillar for health equity. From 2026-29, the EuroHealthNet Partnership will support the EPSR's Action Plan at EU and (sub)national level through our integrated Policy, Practice and Research Platforms and Core and Communications teams. Annual spotlights will ensure this is approached from different angles: demographic transition and intergenerational fairness (2026), digital transition and skills (2027), socially just and green transition (2028), and an Economy of Wellbeing for a more competitive and secure Europe (2029). Our impact – through monitoring, expert analysis, capacity building, advice, exchange and enabling action – will be multiplied by a well-defined communication and exploitation strategy. Our efforts to (1) reduce poverty (2) address the vicious cycle of poverty, ill health and unemployment (3) ensure healthy ageing and lifelong skills and (4) improve social inclusion and wellbeing for all, are directly aligned with the ESF+/EaSI objectives. |
