Description

Description

The project involves the expansion of a network of diagnostic imaging centers and the establishment of hemodialysis centers, frequently but not always located in local hospitals, throughout Hungary, Poland and other Central and Eastern European countries. Euromedic provides a full range of diagnostic services including MRI, CT, Gamma camera, mammography, bone densitometry, and ultrasonography. Hemodialysis is provided as a principal treatment method for patients with end-stage renal disease. Space for most centers is leased from the associated hospital, as are certain other services (see below). Operations are managed mostly on a country-by-country basis by country-based managers and Medical Directors. Existing centers are certified to the ISO 9002 quality management system international standard, and new centers are in the process of becoming certified. Each center has (or will) established policies and procedures related to patient and employee health and safety and waste management.
