Description

Description

The National Qualification’s Authority project intends to meet the main objective of strengthening the guidance community competence on the European dimension of lifelong guidance through promoting the awareness of European instruments on skills and qualifications at a national level to guidance practitioners and relevant staff in learning institutions, employment services and other relevant organizations. In addition to this, NQA also has plans to meet the main objectives of Europass and EQF, which are: - Skills and qualifications in Europe are transparent and understood through Europass. NQA intends to fulfil this objective through the following main activities: 1) Strategic cooperation with relevant national authorities, other EU tools, services and networks, as well as through information sharing, peer learning and exchanges within and among networks; 2) Promotion of, and support to, the use of Europass by individuals and organisations, such as employers, education, training and guidance providers or competent authorities; 3) Dissemination of information on tools, policy developments, events, emerging practices and trends related to mobility, skills and qualifications. - The European Qualifications Framework (EQF) serves to improve the transparency, comparability and portability of people's qualifications in Europe. NQA intends to fulfil this objective through the following main activities: 1) Review and update of the referencing to the EQF of the levels of the NQF or of the national qualifications system; 2) Ensuring information on qualifications and their learning outcomes is accessible and transparent and publishing this information by connecting national databases or registers of qualifications with Europass online platform (through the QDR); 3) Developing activities to bring the EQF closer to learners, workers and employers. NQA will try to make all the efforts necessary to efficiently implement the EQF Recommendation and Europass Decision.
