Europass and Euroguidance activities in Lithuania

For more than 15 years national Europass and Euroguidance centres have been working together to raise awareness and promote the usability of Europass documents and Euroguidance tools; to make skills and qualifications transparent and understood in Europe; to contribute to raising competences of guidance practitioners and their awareness of European initiatives and trends in the fields of education and employment, thus developing the European dimension in guidance. During the period 2021-2024 national Europass centre will support the implementation of the Europass Decision at national level and promote the use of Europass platform and its tools by individuals and organisations; will take the lead cooperating with relevant national stakeholders, EU tools and networks on the topics of skills and qualifications; disseminate information on tools, policy developments, events, emerging practices and trends related to mobility, skills and qualifications; will exchange good practices among other NECs internationally (Innovation WG, Nordic-Baltic-Western cluster) and search for innovative approach how to improve and promote Europass. During the period 2021-2024 Euroguidance Lithuania will further strengthen cooperation amongst the career guidance community by establishing a national Euroguidance Ambassadors group; will support the competence development of guidance practitioners and raise their knowledge and awareness on European instruments on skills and qualifications; will implement joint activities with other EU networks and projects at national level. Moreover, Euroguidance LT plans to provide training on European opportunities for education, training and work as well as on the new Europass Platform. An international exchange between Euroguidance members will be facilitated by proactive participation in Main Task Group 3, the Academia project and Nordic Baltic group activities, including Network annual meetings.
