The general objective of this project is to provide information by producing and disseminating relevant materials and content online linked to EU Cohesion policy, including inter alia the Just Transition Fund, the Recovery Plan for Europe and the Technical Support Instrument. The project will also focus on the Next Generation EU programme, and within that the RRF. The project will segment target audiences in both Hungary and in neighbouring countries where a significant Hungarian speaking community is present in current Member States, such as Slovakia and Romania, as well as for current candidate countries, Serbia and Ukraine. This will allow project partners to convey messages effectively to target audiences and maximise impact. The cooperation between Portfolio.hu and Euractiv will provide citizens with up-to-date information about the impact of Cohesion policy and aims at increasing the number of Hungarians (and Hungarian speaking communities) who have a solid knowledge about Cohesion Policy and its impacts, as well as improving media coverage on the impacts and future of Cohesion Policy in Hungary and Hungarian speaking communities, as well as in Brussels. These efforts will also be complementary to Euractiv’s activities to inform stakeholders in Brussels about the achievements of Cohesion policy in Hungary and its contribution to the green transition. An analysis will be done on the contribution of EU funding instruments (including Cohesion policy and ERDF) to implementing the European Capitals of Culture programme, as well as the results of the ‘Conference on the Future of Europe’ and the European Citizens Panel. Questionnaires will allow the project to tailor its communication strategies, educate the audience, gather stakeholder insights, measure impact, and contribute valuable data to policy discussions. Based on inputs from stakeholders, policy recommendations will be formulated on the future of Cohesion policy and the next MFF.
