Description
Description | The project aims to enhance awareness and knowledge about the European Union’s impact on everyday life in the Czech Republic. It seeks to increase students' interest in European Parliament elections and European politics while addressing topics relevant to them. Additionally, the project strives to improve the quality of EU-related education, support innovative teaching methods, and expand EU knowledge among both students and teachers. The project will be implemented over three school years in three consecutive steps. Project plan (recurring 3 years): 1.EU lessons in each subject + project day Teaching in subjects such as social sciences, geography, economics, languages, IT, ecology etc. 2. Project day aimed at complementing topics outside the curriculum. Practical teaching and didactic games. 3. School competition on the EU – Digital test, awards for the best pupils. Top pupils will receive a sponsored trip to Brussels. Excursion to Brussels and visit to the European Parliament. Sharing experiences on return (presentations, articles, social media, schoolbook). Special emphasis will be placed on second-year students, as they are at an optimal stage for engagement—already adapted to high school life and, in some cases, approaching voting age. By sharing experiences and educational materials within the school and with partner institutions, the project aims to create a sustainable and impactful learning environment. |
