European Celtic Roots The Learning Villages International Network (LVIN) is an open international network initially formed by a group of city governments and civil organizations joining to share and transfer knowledge, innovation and good practices cases and models on cultural and natural heritage’s management and education in less favored rural areas in Europe. At the present, the LVIN network is formed by villages and organizations from Portugal, Spain, Italy, Greece, Germany and Romania. e We have found relevant links based on a powerful cultural tractor element to promote exchanges and twinning between Sabrosa y Río: their common European Celtic roots. The project envisages along a twinning agenda a set of events (research visits, expert-citizen meetings, international conferences, festivals-reenactments) to build on solid basis to promote strategies for celtic heritage culture management as a lever of local development. EU-CELT aims to effectively research and promote the shared European Celtic heritage as a platform for cultural exchange and cooperation. The rich historical context presented, showcasing the peaceful and sacred nature of Celtic artifacts, sets the stage for fostering understanding and unity among communities across the Iberian Peninsula and beyond. By establishing connections between our Learning Villages, and other entities focusing on Celtic culture in various countries, this initiative works on celebrating common heritage, promoting cross-cultural collaboration, and symbolizing peace and solidarity in contemporary Europe. EU-CELT acknowledges the significance of gender equality and inclusivity within its knowledge exchange and heritage management activities.
