Description | "Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the cornerstone of achieving European open strategic autonomy and the twin transition. The European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) Rheinland secures its clients economic competitiveness and open strategic autonomy through teaching, implementing and enabling their use of AI within the Rheinland region and beyond. To reach net-zero by 2050, it will prepare its clients for an Upgrade Circular Economy (UCE) enabled by AI. It fosters the application of European AI values and initiatives. The focus of EDIH Rheinland is AI and UCE. EDIH Rheinland's AI approach is structured into three comprehensive AI pillars: AI Strategy & Infrastructure, AI Literacy and Human-Centered AI. Its service portfolio covers the four core service modules: “Test before Invest”, ""Training and Skills Development"", ""Access to Potential Financing Sources"" as well as ""Innovation Ecosystem and Networking Opportunities"". The service modules are incorporated in a flexible and seamless customer journey. Four individual tracks address different types of collabortion and engagement with the EDIH Rheinland tailored to its different clients needs. The quadruple helix consortium ensures systematic implementation of the EDIH Rheinland objectives providing a holistic approach for boosting its clients' digital maturity. This includes an AI Helpdesk and close collaboration with the EU AI Innovation Ecosystem. This is especially represented in the partnership with the EU ""Jupiter AI Factory"" located in the Rheinland region. EDIH Rheinland is intrinsically motivated to be a trusted partner for Rheinland's SMEs beyond the funding period. This is represented through its ambitious and straight-forward business model with aim for long term economic sustainability. Through its clear, specific and accessible offering EDIH Rheinland fulfills the requirements of the Call and matches the EU objectives. It will significantly increase the digital maturity of its region and beyond." |
