Description | Atlantic Film Finland's application for European Film Distribution support 2025. Reference years for calculation of the potential fund is 2024. The support will be reinvested both in acquisition of distribution rights (MGs) of new non- national European films for Finland as well as in release costs (promotion, marketing and advertising costs) of non- national European films in Finland. The applicant is expecting to reinvest the potential support to the rights of 3-5 non- national European films and also reinvest part the support to release costs of 3-5 non-national European films. Depending on the size and success of the acquired and released films the project in expected bring new non-national European quality films into theatrical distribution in Finland and lead to several tens of thousands of new admissions for European film works at Finnish cinemas. |
