Adria Film is established in 2016 as a company that provides full distribution service of the film features and documentaries produced in Serbia, Bosnia, and Croatia, to movie theatres across Austria and Germany. Since our establishment, we distributed seventeen feature films and two documentaries. With our strong ties with Film Centre Serbia and the Serbian Ministry of Foreign affairs through its Embassies, we became recognized as a key partner for the international promotion of Balkan cinema. Starting last year, with the support received through Distribution Automatic Scheme, we began to invest in the production of Serbian feature films. This has made our company even more influential and at the same time - a crucial partner for every Serbian film production company which aims to release a film internationally. The goal of our project is to expand our production portfolio and invest even more into co-productions of non-national feature films. This would secure continuous quality film content for our audience, as well as create new jobs both for our company, as well as for our potential partners. Our potentially received grant will be also used for the purpose of the theatrical distribution of our upcoming non-national films, in accordance with our main strategy, which is to provide the European audience with an insight into the best Serbian theatrical releases. With the support of Creative Europe, we are positive that we could become a distribution/production powerhouse, and achieve an even better position for non-national European titles in our market.
