European Film Distribution 2023 BONTONFILM

ended

The Covid crisis significantly affected film distribution worldwide and the situation on the Slovak cinema market. After the lifting of the epidemic measures, we had to deal with changes in the theatrical distribution that have lasted until today. Last year we still have kept to kept our strong position and share on Slovak distribution market, where we are profiled as a distributor with attractive local and European films. We give due attention to all our films and provide a massive and targeted marketing and PR campaign for them. The coming years we want to focus on co-production of European films, strengthen our digital distribution and use more digital technologies and apps in theatrical distribution process (e.g. prioritising online DCP downloads instead of sending physical discs to cinemas).
