B-Plan Distriburtion aims to invest even more in distribution of non-national European works during the following years. During its first years the company’s roster has included mostly national films, but the direction is year by year more towards European non-national arthouse films. The objective is also to strengthen the distribution of these films by investing even more in their promotional activities, marketing and advertising. In more concrete terms, B-Plan aims to invest in co-production(s) and/or acquire distribution rights by means of minimum guarantee of 3 to 4 non-national European works, to be released in 2023-2024, and to target extra effort in the promotion, marketing and advertising campaigns of these films. With this growth B-Plan foremost aims to broaden the selection of European films in theatrical distribution locally, and through that to bring growth to the audiences interested in European films locally. The aim is also to strengthen the company’s status as a local distributor and also as an employer, by strengthening the company’s staff’s know-how and motivation and expertise. And moreover, with the proposal B-Plan hopes to foster and grow its network amongst European filmmakers so that it could find the most interesting projects for distribution also in the future.
