Gutek Film is one of the most experienced and the biggest Polish arthouse distribution companies with over 500 films released so far, which have attracted over 21,5 million cinemagoers. Founded in 1994, based in Warsaw. Since 1994 the company has also managed a four-screen arthouse cinema in Warsaw and in 2021, in collaboration with New Horizons Association, the company launched the VOD platform: Nowe Horyzonty VOD. We release theatrically around 15-17 films a year, including many Palm d'or and Oscar winners. Our films include works of such outstanding filmmakers as Almodovar, Labaki, Sorrentino, Holland, Glazer, Ostlund, Zbanic, Bong Joon-ho, Song, Skolimowski, Wenders, Jarmusch and many others. Over the past 30 years, the company has built the brand, which is well recognized locally and in Europe, and is strongly identified with a high-quality line-up (consisting mainly of European films). Many of these works have been recognized at major film festivals and received the most important awards.
