European films in Slovenia 2023/2024

Our main objective is to acquire great quality European Films and show them to Slovenian audiences. We will do extensive advertisement, both online and at various cinemas in Slovenia, to help bring back the audience we had before covid. Most of which will consist of standard marketing promotion, such as TV advertising and radio promotion and advertising in print media. We are also planning on advertising a lot more comapared to previous years online, advertising through Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as YouTube. For great European Films and festival winners, we connect with Kinodvor and agree on joint and coordinated advertising and organization of premieres of individual films. We will also pay special attention to children's and youth films. MEDIA support will help us along with our own contribution with both acquiring the license for our territory, as well as creating localized materials such as DCP, trailer, poster and advertising of the film on all relevant media outlets (TV, Radio, Newspaper and Social Media). We would also like to help bring talent to Slovenia with the help of MEDIA support as we have successfuly done so in the past, most recent being Cristian Mungiu with his film R.M.N.. We hope to achieve on average of at least 2.000-4.000 admissions per film, hopefully more, which is for independent films in Slovenia a very good result. With this grant we hope to do as we have done in the past and help us bring many great films and hopefully bring back the audience interested in European production and art cinema films.
