Description

"Project will support organization of 1 international event over 11 months of total Project duration, in the period 1.5.2022-4.10.2023. The event will be organized in Slovenia in the form of an international conference ""European Future through Friendships at the Local Level"" and it will be attended by a total of 238 participants, of which 195 guests are invited from partner organizations outside the host country. In total, it is expected that 238 direct participants will work in the Project. The project involves 11 partners from 6 countries, of which 6 are EU member states. International Conference is scheduled to last 3 days. The date of the international Conference coincides with the organization of a traditional local festival “Grosuplje In Autumn” whose program includes the presentation of local traditions and cultural landmarks and which each year gathers a large number of visitors from the environment, local and international. Participants will be selected to bring together representatives from all 3 sectors (public, private and civil) taking into account the representation of marginalized groups, as well as the equal age and gender structure of invited citizens from different countries. Within the Conference, a round table „Life lessons learned in COVID 19”, within the recognized need to adapt to the current reality because the COVID 19 crisis has particularly affected the cultural and creative sectors (CCS), tourism and transport sector. Conference will provide an opportunity for partners to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation, as a legal framework for joint action on future activities."
