The COMMISSION DECISION of 13.12.2018 emphasized that the EU institutions, together with the Member States, should address these issues by promoting a concrete collaboration to strengthen the political association and economic integration of the countries involved. The project wants to respond to the concrete need of the EU to protect the financial interests of the Union improving and strengthening cooperation between the stakeholders in the Eastern Neighborhood countries and the Member States. We are going to organise: 1 specialised training of 3 modules/3 days replicated in 4 different countries: Ukraine, Armenia, Republic of Moldova and Albania. The training main theme will be the sharing of knowledge and the best experiences acquired by European and national institutions and the strategies implemented in the fields of: • prevention and investigation of fraud and other illegal activities beyond current levels to improve transnational and multidisciplinary cooperation (including in the area of justice and security); • effectiveness of the EU enlargement and its transformative power for the countries concerned (providing added value for the EU as a whole); • policy of dialogue between the EU and the Easter Partners countries and Pre-adhesion countries; • consolidation of institutions and of good governance, including resilience to external changes; • management of public funds and protection of the EU financial interests. The training expects to facilitate the exchange of information, experience and best practices among staff employed by the beneficiaries and to set the grounds for future staff exchanges between national and regional administrations to contribute to the further development, improvement and update of staff's skills and competences in the protection of the Union’s financial interests.
