Starting from the new Recommendation on VET adopted by the Council in 2020 which integrates the updated EQAVET Framework, emphasizing among others the quality of learning outcomes, certification and evaluation, stakeholder consultation including students, the role of teachers, the objectives of our project proposal are in agreement and cover all the objectives of the invitation addressed to the national reference points. Our approach addresses both levels of the EQAVET framework: the system level and the provider level. At system level, we will develop a national programme on QA in VET for the VET school staff, we will organize and support a peer review of our system, that will focus on the QA of the mechanisms established for the quality assurance of the design, assessment and review of qualifications and we will organize national events to inform all relevant stakeholders on our developments. At provider level, we will continue to support the VET schools from the partner networks formed in the previous QANRP project, by: training of teachers with responsibilities in quality assurance, testing methodology and peer review tools, adapted to the national context, supporting the schools to use the European instrument SELFIE, to develop improvement plans and to collect feedback from students on the provision of their training programs, with a focus on the evaluation of the learning outcomes. Because the communication and involvement of as many stakeholders as possible is important, we will organize national information sessions and we will send through many communication channels as possible the results of the project (GNAC site, Alege-ti drumul platform, Facebook, etc.). Regarding the collaboration with other Member States and the strengthening of mutual trust, we will organize a peer review at system level and we will express our willingness to participate as peers in peer reviews organized by other QANPRs and in other European events.
